The Princess Bride is a quirky fantasy with something of a cult following.
It's loved equally by kids and adults, and has a massive cast including notable appearances by Billy Crystal as Miracle Max, Christopher Guest as Count Tyrone Rugen and Peter Cook as The Impressive Clergyman to name but a few.
Some argue that it's not a Christmas Movie, however I direct you to the Santa Claus hanging on the door behind Peter Falk (The Grandfather) and the Christmas Tree visible in the hallway beyond when the door is open!
